Neuroscience and coaching:

What’s all the fuss about?

What’s the hottest topic around in coaching right now?

Neuroscience!

Every coaching conference appears to have a keynote speaker on neuroscience at the moment. Most of them claim that we have reached a real turning point in being able to prove a scientific basis to many of the theories and intuitive practices that many coaches have been using for years.

So does this latest excitement help coaches in any way or is it just old wine in new bottles?

Spark Group Manchester will be looking at this hot topic at our next session on 3 February. As usual we will be presenting our own client issues in a supportive group atmosphere using the lens of our chosen theme to deepen and expand our coaching capability.

After all, David Rock in his latest book Coaching with the Brain in Mind states that coaches should consider the importance of “continuing to develop professionally…(or) we may inhibit our clients development by not continuing to grow beyond our own limits….”.
