Your Retreat

Your retreat will be hosted by Karyn Prentice and Elaine Patterson. Karyn and Elaine will facilitate the Retreat with a light touch and through an eclectic mix of personal reflection, guided meditations, movement, crafts, sound baths, journaling, yoga, creative and sensory exercises, camp fires, labyrinth walks, community conversation, companionship and generous hospitality. The Retreat is eligible for 20 hours CPD. Their creative partnership has - at its core – the exploration of our human natures in mother nature - and which uses mother nature as our guide and supervisor - has received wide acclaim.

Your Venue

Our home for the weekend is the exclusive use of the inspirational seventeenth century Tofte Manor set in its own grounds. Tofte Manor with its labyrinth, sanctuary, sitting rooms, log fires, courtyards and rolling gardens provides the perfect canvas for our work together. Tofte Manor is 60 miles north of London and is easily accessible by car, train or plane.

Your hosts

Karyn Prentice is Assistant Director for Training, Coaching Supervision Academy. Karyn is an accredited Coach with Association for Coaching, a member of ICF and an Accredited Coach Supervisor with CSA since 2008. She is in the frontline teaching team at CSA co-facilitating in London, Seattle and France and works bilingually. She is one of the authors of ‘Full Spectrum Supervision’ published September 2013. Karyn is a UKCP accredited transpersonal psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher. She is particularly drawn to Mother Nature as an unceasing source of inspiration and teacher in her life and her practice. Karyn is now half way through writing her book called “How Does Your Garden Grow?” to help others share her passions.

Elaine Patterson is an international Master Coach, Accredited Coach Supervisor and Writer. She is also Director: Creative Development at the Coaching Supervision Academy | International Centre for Reflective Practice. Elaine’s passion is to bring the humanizing, energizing and creative powers of reflection to leaders, people professionals and development practitioners everywhere for courageous, compassionate, courageous and ethical practice. Elaine takes her inspiration from her love of the arts, history, mediation, writing, poetry and Nordic walking. Elaine is now half way through writing her book called ‘“Reflect to Create!” - Reflection, Reflective Practice and Supervision for Creative Leadership and Professional Practice’
